the swivel base allows you to rotate your double front passenger seat around so you can have it facing tne rear of your van why camping. This then will open up the vans camping layout to the max.
also the swivel base still allows you to use and access the storage in the seat box even with the seat fitted. most people place the leisure batterys and heaters away in there.

The swivel base has been to millbrook proving grounds ltd for testing to conduct a single seat belt anchorage pull test, to category m1 belt anchorages of the front passenger seat and swivel mechanism supplied by trimjim custom upholstery, to the requirements of ECE R14.
Regarding the criteria of the test regulation ECE R14 and examination of the data for test on the passenger double seat and swivel mechanism, it can be determined that the required load was reached and maintained for the required time period.
The swivel base was tested on the 11th december 2018 and will come with all the necessary paper work and full m1 seat belt anchorage graph
